Guide 3 - Macroing to Heal in Entropia

So, this is kind of a pertinent issue and topic for me, which is why I jump straight into such a topic at such an early guide. There are many other topics that would be helpful but this one applies to me personally as I built a very simple macro that did not break any rules that I had seen mentioned in the discord or forums. So despite all the other ones that could be very useful to players in the early going, here we are, discussing the use of macros for healing but also relevant to general use in Entropia Universe.

Well, well, if something is unclear, what better way to clarify than to contact none other than Entropia Universe support? So that is exactly what I did. And luckily for me, MindArk has recently beefed up their support team with either knowledgeable folks or people who can communicate directly with the team who work directly on code and rules for the game. I will place a screenshot of that support case and its response below:

I trust that this is in fact as good as a response as I will get at this time on the topic. I am happy at the response time which is a massive improvement over times in the past where I waited months for support cases to be answered or resolved. Unfortunately, outside of this, it wasn’t the direct answer I had hoped for. It is extremely convenient to use the macro I made outside of a few issues it poses that I need to deal with in my own active use. But my fingers and hands thank me for sparing the carpel tunnel, lol. I would say with all I have read, I am safe with this activity, including this response here which specifies some cases that I am not doing as the “not ok” scenarios.

I hope this is helpful to other players wondering and having questions in the same area. There is still some level that is unclear from MindArks end about what is allowed and what is not when it comes to automating your play. But be sure enough, full on botting scripts that play the game for you while you are not there is against the rules and people have been banned for it. There were forum threads a while back of a player profiting heavily doing full on automated mining while AFK to profit significantly through the MU in game and was making real life money from these actions. If you have further questions you would like to ask me, feel free to use the Contact page to reach out. Stay safe Entropians!
